Silent room. Full of vibrant beings. The sun shines bright. I sit in the middle. Looking bored and dull. Nothing new.
Different pen. One of the shitty ones. Cheap ink, simple structure, replaceable. The type of pen that serves a lonely purpose. A last resort when your favorite pen is home. The pen itself knows its fate. Paper Mate. What a waste.
I’m subdued on Jack Herrer. A fine herb. Smoked some before class. Inside my beat-up car. Wonderful memories in that fine machine. Just a pinch this time. Saving some for later. Hitting harsh times.
Someone is speaking. In relation to business.
A sudden interruption. Didn’t hear much of it.
Another interruption. My friend is calling me. Asking for the flask. I have no time for that now.
We’re asked to be in groups. It happened so fast. Grouped in a circle. Discussing a product. We chose Apple. Good choice in my view. Twenty minutes talking. Sometimes delving off. The high has run its course. Reality kicks in.
Class discussion. The authority stands firm. It questions our choice. Honest and focused. I stumbled a little. Lost in confusion. Don’t want to be here. Writing this is more fun. Wouldn’t be writing if I wasn’t here. We’ve hit a paradox. What a strange truth. All truth’s seem strange.
More ramble. Going on for hours. Not true. Just a few minutes. But it feels true. Makes you think about illusions. How every path has one. Frustrating existence.
The friend calls. Wants to meet up. Roll a joint perhaps. I’ll respond to his request. I will go to his house. For one measly blunt. To relax and talk. Hope he has glittering Northern Lights.
